I am finding now I need to run at one less level of zoom on Firefox to see the last bunch of menu item:

messages news scores clans search

in addition now roughly 25% of the viewing area you have on a normal page, these forums for example is now taken up by non scrolling menu header stuff

all the actual info on it is about 10% of that space, 8 click-able links and the rest is wasted space

id rather have both that and the menu scroll, but if its not possible could we at least have a minimalist option condensing stuff into one line only slightly larger than the text?

for the menu reducing the gap between both menu items and menu groups in condensed mode would make the game a lot more playable

support for different aspect ratios would be appreciated also, even just having the menu aligned left and not zooming while the rest was centre aligned and zoomed would make a huge difference

perhaps have 2 versions of the game?

normal and lite version...which is just text and is for those with slow internet/phone connections?

If I understand your post correctly, you should know that we'll be switching over the ingame leftbar to something that sits on top of the page.

The logout button is on the portal page.

since to be able to see the menu options i used to see before i have to have everything smaller, two zoom steppings in firefox it actually seems like

thats the layout i use, actual game stuff only gets 56% of vertical resolution

tbh i would like a logout button as well that would take you back to the portal

I'm using firefox full screen on a netbook with 1024x600 resolution - and I can fully support the request to remove a header abusing so much of the page. It is just sitting there, with links to something I would use like once every third year, and yet they have to take up valuable vertical space.

What are the design considerations for this (and the future one mentioned above) top bar menu? Why is it thought to be better? Are there any other changes in layout, which requires this layout because better use are made of horizontal space with other items?

this solves the problem adequately, although there's no option currently for having the heading stuff scroll but not the menu stuff currently if someone wants that
