Ok, so this is an admittedly small data set, but I figured it's worth reporting none the less...

Out of 884 turns run in FFA, I received the tax rebate penalty 14 times, and only had 3 other penalty types (1 earthquake, 2 fires in oil fields) total for those same turns.

I know it's not indicative of a problem in and of itself, just wanted to bring it to the admin's attention in case similar problems start getting reported to help with some precedent.

Thanks!

Talking to qz one time I was able to conclude that each turn represents about one month and thus this would work out to you issuing a tax rebate about every 5 years. If your country is about as ass-backwards as the US it seems likely that your country would choose to periodically cripple its own per capita income at that frequency. ;)

If you don't have indy production then you won't get any of the indy related bonuses. The same is true for food production.

So if someone were to build 1 of each type of production, then they would continue to receive the same proportion of each penalty type but now their bonuses would be skewed away from their most productive bonus. Interesting.
