I was able to vote for the game on those sites from the bonus link in the portal during the time when the game was awaiting new round, country created, but i dont have the points for it yet the timer is 11.7 hours now, so the task completed but im missing my 8 points when i goto the bonus link in the main menu of the game.

you won't get points until set starts.
