why, after grabbing land is it not possible to drop that land and yet it is possible to delete your country at any time?

there should be a time limit after any attack stopping a country from being deleted.

let a country be deleted, but let it still be grabbed

just make it unable to self-delete.

Perhaps there could be a delay on deletion... Player hit's the delete button and they get a message stating that

"Your country will be deleted in x hours"

where x is the time difference between 48 (or 24) hours after the last attack and the time of requesting deletion.

The restrictions on dropping land were more to prevent abuse of tech formulas and spy formulas.

deleting to take stuff out of the game after doing something is griefing

deleting because you dont want to play or want to restart is fine

countries should be spyable after being deleted to steal cash/tech like dead countries

and should be grabbable

i dont think dead countries should be grabbable though as someone chose to kill it and give up the land, and even if you killed your own suicider it would require a large investment of effort, much more so than suicide then delete

you should probably seperate self delete from admin delete

make admin delete not grabbable or put a delay on it until after appeals

it would also be a good idea to prevent immediate grabbing on undeleted countries particularly since it looks like countries detag on deletion

otherwise its a bit like the retal coordinator posting a retal then immediately taking it
