There should be a message in the news to inform you when an ally has died.

Or, change the colour of a dead country in the relations page to the same red which is just below the country name when showing ally report.

I'm colour blind and the red that is used isn't, to me, very red so for the past couple of days I thought I had an ally but the bugger had gone and deleted his fecking country without letting me know.

caf: i added a "Color settings" option in the global preferences that lets you change all green/red text to white.

try that out... I'm not sure it will solve your problem, but at least it won't be red :)

i'll have a look at the code and see how hard it is to add a message in... i don't imagine it would be overly difficult.

I'm still convinced dead allies provide def/off. Has anyone confirmed this?

Why don't you create some countries in FFA jfotouhi? 2 days later you'll be able to test it. It's what I do if I'm curious about how things work.

Thanks for looking into this Pang.

The same red as is used to indicate low food would be cool.
