What about having a prompt when you login asking if you'd like your free 20 acres or not? This could be helpful for stonewallers during war.

Well I know if I'm in a war, the 20 acres isn't going to help anyway. If anything, it will only alert the enemy if I have logged on.

How about a setting in the main menu where a player has the option of turning off the free acres (that way it doesn't prompt you every time).

what is the problem with getting the 20A free? you're worried that if you don't drop it within the 5 minute mark they could notice that you're online? =/ only reason i could see you wouldn't want it; seems a little lazy, no? haha

Are there not online bots which will indicate an increase in land? Even before you have a chance to drop it? Just an idea, b/c I know there were bots like that 3 years ago... I just assumed there still was.

The online bots only receive their information every 5 minutes (same time as Scores updates).
