adding more languages is bit big project (not even blizzard has other than english in wow).

But EE is much more simple than WoW. :)

but still its a big project and qz etc would need to make sure that there's nothing bad in translation before adding it and that'd be even more work. russian ui was in plans to be added but no1 volunteered to help in translation so it was abandoned.

For example I can help with translation from english into russian: it is not a problem. There are many russian-speaking players here and they could help.

still admins would need to check that translators aren't trying to get some nasty words into game (this is supposed to be pg-13).

contact qzjul (via forum pm or via irc) and ask his opinion.

If you helped, and they allowed your help I bet it would happen fast ;).

I hope you can help and make the game more accessible to those who want to play but can not read the game....

there were helpers to get game russianized few years ago but it didn't get wind under its wings.

I'll try to contact him. I think only a very stupid man will try to add some "words" to the translation cause everything can be easily checked.

they could do it indirectly by using capped 1st letters of several words (1 way or other), some would try to do that kind of prank. acronyms or short version of words are more difficult to figure.

in earth2025 for example moderators (at least 1 mod) had banned usage of tubgirl in countrynames and on forums and if used then most likely countrydeletion and if posted then ban BUT easy to circumwent by using for example youTUBe GIRL, its obvious what was meant but still it was legit countryname and mod(s) were powerless.

I think what he is wanting to do is just change the text that's all ready in the game, just translate the words and have it so people can use it translated.

People can use names like fluff, whore, kill you, sex, ect but tubgirl is bad and a ban-able offense? Oo.... whaaaaa

But this is the kind of translation that is used in mars. From the game log in screen you can chose different languages in a drop down box that changes all the text in the whole game.

I wouldn't think it be too dificult to have some kind of option like this in a user profile or something.

Yup, thanks. I've looked through Tank's translation: everything correct except one misstype but no swear words or something like that.

As I understand from the discussion the translation of the game has a priority but admins are busy in real life so they put it aside. Also as I was told they are working on some other projects in EE (some new server with bots or smth) so it seems to me that the priority of multilanguage platform is pretty low. That's a pity. :(

I'd still like to do multi-lingual; If I could redo the front-end it'd be a lot easier to do as well; I would *like* to do that for sure...
