[Sug] Option to Auto-Buy Private Market

Im a lazy netter and I dont have the time to log into the small pvt market of my 20k acre theos evey 4 -5 hours for 4 days to buy out my pvt market just to get rid of my stock lol.

what about an option in prefences for a country to auto buy specified military units as soon as they become available on the pvt market. I guess it would work like a constant standing order in a way, but using the pvt instead of the public market.
that way i can just let my pvt market slowly eat away at my 10b cash on hand.

Isn't it the longer you stay logged out the bigger your private market gets? Why do you need to log in every 4-5 hours?

no..your private market replenishes every turn regardless of if you are logged in or not.
as far as i understand.. the size of your pvt market depends on the amount of land u have..mostly.

Yes, RIU, so if you empty your market whenever you login, you lose 0 units. Even if that means logging in only once every 2 days, you still lose 0 units as long as you empty it all before the next turn ticks over.

The only thing I would add here is if you wait long enough for your market to completely replenish you will lose out on goods to buy... Not sure how long it would take your PM to completely replenish though.

There is no limit Requiem, and hence "completely replenish" doesn't make sense. Your PM decays 1.5% every turn that ticks by though, that's why you lose units, but if you emptied it before the turn ticks over, decay on 0 units is 0. The regeneration is only added on login, not per turn.

That's why if you don't log in for a week you can have a massive market, right? Not sure what scenario that would be useful in though, maybe a theo techer that finished teching and put all his bushels on sale before he logged out.

so your saying that your PM has no limit? that if i dont log in to my country for a week it will be say 7 times larger than if i logged in every day even if i didnt play turns?..

There's no limit, but the bigger you want to make it, the longer you have to stay logged out; which means missing turns typically...

get alot land by day ~20, stock and get more money next 10 days and then dump stock and buy priv empty and sell max and don't log to country until ~week left and you have big priv market and you can undercut every1 big times.

Tin Man, what you said has been done before by many. Nothing new. And it can backfire if your goods doesn't sell because too many people are reselling/undercutting.

And keep in mind your PM still decays 1.5% per turn during the market sale 4-5 hour trip (lets say this is 13 turns, almost 20% of your PM would have decayed away). It's a lot of decay on a huge PM.

If you're not reselling, then it makes no difference whether you clear your PM once every day for 10 days, or once at the end of 10 days. It's the same amount of total PM, requiring the same amount of money.
