It should be a very simple change to make PM regeneration based off a country's total number of buildings rather than its total landsize. This would weaken the countries that do not build all their land before destocking, such as those big 500k+ acre countries in FFA.

But the primary reason is that it would weaken those who switch to theocracy to destock without rebuilding the buildings that they lose. The 0 military base theocracy destock is too powerful, and giving a 14% decrease to its PM regen would be a welcome change.

ya, that's a good idea. i wouldn't mind nerfing the 0MB theo destock anyway. it goes against the spirit of the game to some degree and it's a simple change to make.

Hmm, this change probably needs a bit more thought. Nerfing the 0MB theo destock will likely cause the following:

A) Less people will switch to using it, and destock from public instead, and these public jumps will likely get earlier.

B) This causes public prices to go up, and consequently commies (and their destock) are also stronger on servers that last long enough to actually require stocking. While this is probably good on servers on alliance, it could be bad for Primary.

C) Large acre countries (those above 50k) are directly nerfed since they cannot afford to switch to MBs, so they are likely going to lose 10-14% in jumping ability, or they are going to grab a lot less land to be able to stock longer and use a different destock method. This would probably drive food prices up and strengthen farmers, but also cause the market to be more volatile in the last 2 weeks.

I have also suggested (in a different thread) changing the networth modifier on expenses back to 40 million where it originally was. Not too long ago, it was changed from 40 million to 200 million.

Making it so that every 40m networth causes a 100% increase in your military expenses, rather than the current setting of every 200m networth causes a 100% increase in your military expenses should significantly weaken the Commie Indy destock.

And under mehul it was changed from 30M to 40M...

I've tried to get Xin into web dev a ton of times but he's unfortunately not interested. i hope that changes, whether it be for boxcar, ee, or another future project...

you should all definitely check out his game, though. you likely used his wow addons :p
