As you all know EE is a market based game at least for the beginning and jumping parts of it. Also all other governments except demo pay on all transactions 6% or 10%of the transactions of the public market. That means that a portion of your money whether you buy or sell goes into the public market and is never returned back.

What if that money which goes into the market would somehow be returned, not to the players, but to the market itself. If you count and start adding all the 6 and 10% of all the transactions you would amount to at least a few billion $$$ so i was thinking it could be saved up in a special account and towards the end of the set or when a specific amount is reached in said account, the money could be reinvested in the market by making some random buyouts (military and or tech). That will at leas diversify jumping strategies towards the end of the set.

why should he?

because it would make the game more interesting! players would have a random factor which they would have to take into account when jumping, it wouldn't be just doing the math anymore as some ppl migh benefit from it. In the end you have to remember it's a game, not a math class, it has to have some random events :P

we got earthquakes, tax cuts, tax booms, exploration is random, indy booms and strikes, oil booms and fires, food booms and food cuts and missile production.

it'd be easier to make my new bots randomly do buyouts...

Or make a market bot that holds that cash (like a central bank bot) with ridiculous spies/defense. Players can steal and grab it but it'll cost them. Regular DR applies.
