I think when a player chooses to unlink their account to the leaderboard, they should also forfeit that accounts standing...

They chose to play secretive or under a different alias, they should be secretive and off of the leaderboard, or starting over under new alias.

These unlinked accounts scattered throughout the standing is stupid.

I suggest they be purged from the leaderboards if they choose to unlink their accounts.

Meh just means they don't want their name known. Their record still stands just as anyone else.

If they want to be on he leaderboard, link the account. it is pretty easy concept. they clearly dont want people to know they are playing or are using certain nicks or alias

Yeah some people play dirty so they don't want to be known such as previous country names etc. And by dirty I dont mean cheating I just mean farming people and stuff.

i hide my prev. countries (not that those are hard to figure) and other things but otherwise i'm in lb (kills etc).

Yes, having a bunch of unlinked accounts littering the leaderboards seems dumb to me.

i agree wholly with mdevol. remove them or force them to claim their actions.

Removing them sounds like a bad idea because the leaderboard no londer shows you your true standing. You will never know if your #1 spot is truly #1 (or whatever spot you are at) if you hide unlinked accounts.

All accounts should just be publicly linked.

This is the plan eventually; hopefully I'll get some more time this summer

If people don't want to be known for playing a certain way then they shouldn't play that way. Show all ownership!
