1. Market goods are on the market, and protected by such, you shouldn't be able to mess with those, however sabotage In Route goods should be possible and add a whole new dimension to the game, like forcing the price of the goods to be lower, this would force techers to get a somewhat decent spal, however this kind of spy op should have a low rate of success and should be hard to apply on anything with more than 25 SPAL.

2. Opium wars?

This could this cause lower PCI and Industrial/Farm Production.

And make it work with a with pop %, IE

You introduced 200 tons of "Opium" on EUA #52 this cost 10 turns


and gradually with each turn a % of the pop become addicts and based in this same % production and PCI start to drop, all until the drugs run out.

Med tech could make the process faster (IE taking the drugs out of the streets), but I dunno :)

3. No, Corruption in itself has a set rule of only working past 2B, that would need to be changed first before any kind of op involving corruption.

assassinate general is somewhat good idea as long as max generals possible to be killed is 2 or 3.

if you assassinate all 5 generals, then they can't GS/BR/AB

just the same if you PS out 5 times, you can't GS/BR/AB or even send a god damn missle, you need a general to push that button.

think about it. during FS, you have members with great spy count, assassinates the FSers' top breakers..

or even late in war, during stone walling, you assassinate the one guy that is still hitting, bam, you get all 5? your free pass to stonewall


it's pointless in warfare if you can only get 2 or 3.

I also like the assassinate the general idea. That would be in complete agreement with some military strategies in RL. If you take out command and control, you disrupt enemy operations.

Maybe not making it impossible to attack, but reducing effectiveness by a high margin would be good in this instance.

Or perhaps instead of making it an intel operation, build a special forces military unit to conduct such operations. Obviously, they'd be much more expensive to train, and equip. So, it would take you three times as long to build specops troops vs. regular troops.

Nah make it an op

But also make it that a country must carry successful operations in a row in order to kill a general.

For example: Attempt assassination: Turns 3
IF all 3 turns are a success, then a General dies for 72 hours
Next one takes 5 turns
Next one takes 7 turns
Next one takes 10 turns
Last one takes 15 turns

All turns count as a harmful op and if one fails all fail, would force people to get a little bit more spies per acre, but would ensure that getting all your generals killed will never be easy, unless you suck ass :p
