These idiots ruin all strategies other than techer most sets. 35k acre casher with decent techs will rock a decent finish if not for a bunch of topfeeds.

Techers are the only ones who can deal with this in a decently affordable fashion.

I'd say the indy deals w/ topfeeds the best.

Techers often get to their land goals first, so they are topfed whilst in stocking mode, which means loss of stock on hand if you're unlucky enough to get caught with some available. You have to grab and rebuild, which means more turns not teching, which is turns not producing.

A 35kA Casher is a monster, if a Theo or Rep.... not so much a Dict. That, and I cash started, expecting tech to fall more than it did. It didn't. When I had to retal yesterday (#19, I think), I had to cash through a bunch of turns to get the extra mil to throw the retal. Sucked. I was 23kA @ turn 970.

23k @ 970 is solid.

The problem for the other strats is that by Sunday the techers have started jumping or have taken almost all their turns when the losers can break them, so it no longer matters, unless ofc theres stock on hand.

anyway back to strategy, yes techer is least likely to have problems with top feeders. they grab you because they dont even understand the whole 'land * turns remaining" mechanic, (much like my grabs above are pointless from a net gaining perspective). They just think that getting more land regardless of anything else is good, and that grabbing big countries is an easy way to get land.

They are wrong on both counts.

Still, it's great to see a decent shot at a big casher in express. It's a rare sight, given the propensity of dumbasses. Congrats!

4th. Not bad. If I didn't have throw a pair of retals today, I probably could have ended between 35-38m somewhere.

I can only imagine how salty some of you guys get playing Monopoly :} Wonder if some may be better off playing Microsoft Excel to eliminate the risk of variables.
