Was this an attempt to buy out oil? Maybe feed cash to a single player? Or is this normal for express at the end of the set?

My guess is...this late in the set nobody is producing and selling oil. Oiler is by far the least played strat in express and there isn't much supply as it is.

A few idiots who are suiciding probably need the oil and are too stupid to produce it themselves. Thus driving up the demand.

well considering you can buy oil on the private i would guess its possibly a buyout?
