PRODUCTION CONCERN: Our buildings only produce at 44% of optimal levels due to low population compared to our land.

I have had to use over 200 turns to go from 2k pop to 120k pop which took me from 20% optimum to 44% optimum.

So what I am gathering here is that a guy could just GS / BR a few people (if they break GDI) and you can cripple them for a good portion of the round and not be bothered to get an actual kill

Confirmed, GS have been very effective 1v1 for a long time because of the mechanic, the change is to the display

I been in a few GS wars before and never suffered such a high penalty. 200 turns and I was still crippled despite having 120k pop

This really tilts the wars now which ain’t a bad thing

No, it's been this way for about a decade. All that happened is Slagpit made it a little more visible.
