First reset to finish in Express as well - got into a heavy skirmish with someone who didn't like being attacked. Probably would've finished much higher otherwise.

Yea...I haven't really been playing much until recently (first set of primary last set too ;p). I think if I managed to play turns after Friday night on a regular basis, I would have secured the win pretty easily. There's a difference between doing and "woulda" though =P

Yeah, that as my fault. I should have retalled earlier. I had a feeling hell was coming to him.

By farmed, I retalled his 2 retals with 2 hits. He sent missiles and some ABs at me so I retalled him back with another 2 hits.

I went def heavy to feed on all jetters who were top feeding. I figured this is Express, not Alliance.

But as you found out, this is Express, not Alliance. Every one that could have potentially won but double tapped ended up with parking lots. Everyone.

I was going to give the win to #17 or #74 but they both got ABed. You might have even gotten the win, you had over a billion $$$ on Friday night I think.

KoHeartsGPA, please look into things yourself. I'm not twisting any facts. I double-tapped him first, and he retal'd twice. I retal'd his two hits, with which he responded with AB/NM, to which I did another two PS, to which he decided to suicide on me.

What do you define as "farm"? I could have easily PSed him twice every 2 hours. I'm not saying that I don't deserve to get ABed but I certainly didn't "farm" him - I just retal'd his hits.

In Express, once you did the 2nd hit, all bets were off. I see 'New Member' next to your name so maybe you are a returning player and just don't know but in Express there are quite a few players that play strictly to kill. They will bait you and once you doubletap, you almost never see it coming. Doesn't matter how big you think you are. Take the time and read through a few of the threads here. Every set the same thing happens. We post it up and laugh about it and wait to see who falls for the trap the next set. You got lucky you didn't get killed, you hit the right guy at the right time.

I also shouldn't have wasted turns and money trying to AB/BR him back.

That and don't doupletap. You join GDI and doubletap, you basically screwed yourself with GDI expenses all set long. Cos they WILL come for you and you cannot leave GDI and are hence stuck with its costs plus the ABes and everything else that comes with a doubletap.

thats why you use bonus point for free GDI.

The "no double tapping... ever!" thing seems to be kind of unique to Express. Because just looking over trep's set in Primary last round, he double tapped about 20 people. No one even attempted any missiles except a guy he 4x tapped.

He also had quite a few tanks. Express is unique because you can just wait a day and have 360 turns plus stored and get immediate satisfaction.

FYI, for every trep, there were 3 to 5 guys that double tapped and got their bells rung. See my thread on marinabay.

I had an ally in Primary that had over 60 missiles. He could have rung anyones bells.

That's all he needed to do. The aim was to hurt you where it would hurt the most. There wouldn't have been enough turns to kill. And as a techer you had wasted turns hitting him back. The next thing was to drop your NW.

It might have been all he could do, but regardless, it was smaert play by him.

Plus you were in your destock phase and didn't need d buildings anyway.

Lemming was the way to go in my situation when I was running an all out commie indy. You were high in tech and war prepped. I was not.

The sad thing was you didn't spend a single turn on SDI even when i took down 4k of your 16k labs. Double tap me, and then farm me after I retal and your next few sets will be in hell.
