In place of the way things are, what if DR only effects the person attacking instead of the person defending? (DR would go up if you attack the same country over and over again, not if you are land grabbing randoms)If it is only applied in a person to person manor people will not be able to run their DR up as a form of defence. This also ensures that anyone that is hit will get a chance for a proper retal if they can do so. The only issue i can see with this is it would be easier to destory countries with coordinated effort.

Well the problem with that is DR exists to protect newbs from being farmed too heavily. If DR only worked on an attacker basis, everyone in the game could hit the same newb.

What if DR was random? That is, if you are 20k acres and in DR and get hit, you never know if the attacker is going to take 2500A or 10A. Kinda like when you have SDI and never know if the nuke will make it through.

no. it's not that simple. There's nothing wrong with farming unless it was planned or multis. If someone topfed me and leave 200k turrets for me to farm them, then I will.

You guys are only coming up with methods that'll suit yoru needs instead of making it fair for everyone.

I've chem'd and Ab'd people, then farm them as soon as DR clear before. It works wonders. Especially with techers, that oversell their tech. They end up with very little to fight back with
