i have a work one but its a pile of fluff and having a tablet will make my life a whole load easier and save a stack of time...

bsnake - there are a lot of equivalents out there that will let you tether the device as a wi-fi host....but I don't believe the iPad will.

you are gonna need it for all the doctor visits and ointment that you will require after your trip to thaiworld
