Today, brought even to the pre-pulp stage is not accepted, as our culture is becoming more informed and civilized.
It's true, landing upside down in a corner from the top bunk nearly sound asleep, isn't allowed anymore. This may have never been a right thing to do, but who knew there were so many that were so ignorant, in the ways of successful parenting?
I told my son he was 'getting on my last nerve' and to knock it off, or I was 'gonna knock him into next week!' From the nearly hysterical laughter he responded with, I knew I'd struck.. his sense of humor!
This was fine, cuz I'm proud of him for it, forgot why I felt I needed to dummy slap him in the first place.
Regarding the farter, Shaving cream under her pillow, might be just the thing, just before bedtime.. When she bolts out to find the culprit, calmly clue her in, on the countless things you have in your bag of tricks, and the shaving cream was a gentle reminder, that she has choices.. Then inform her that it's up to her, how deep you reach, into this magic bag..

A fish might show up while swimming close to the glass, then vanish in the white clouded water..

the problem with parenting today is parents are so terrified to discipline their children, and the children know that and they exploit it, because you won't dare hit little johnny for keying daddy's car, you'll just put him in time out for a half hour and take his video games away for the weekend.
