I really wanna do the math on it actually haha. Maybe that's a weekend project. People try it every set I think and it never works out but it doesn't really look like anyone is optimizing. I think the way people do it is worse than allx but I think it can be slightly better if done right

I spent an evening not too long ago making a spreadsheet to simulate it. Needless to say it's not worth it right now but on pure turn efficiency it was well worth it with the average landgrab gains we saw before the bot increase from 100 to 250 bots on alliance(I think FFA was high enough already then to not make it worthwhile here). Turn efficiency is far from all tho, its also a crapload of extra build costs.

Its rather easy to test on FFA if its better than all-xp (which ofc it is if you do it right) and just how good it is since the game formulas are a bit different here. In 1a you'd need a minimum of 4 countries for it running the same strat, and not just any strats either, also a bit more game knowledge and some extra rather easy math.

A combination of bot grabbing+ land-trading is better than just all-xp to land-trading tho.

My sheet tells me that doing all-xp to landtrading in FFA can get to 70-90k acres depending on strat. All-xp itself will only get to like 35-40k acres and those extra acres will pay for the extra military and building losses with a fair margin.

They need to bring back where we can self farm to 1 million plus acres with ghost acres and finish with 2 billion plus net worth.

Was 90m E2025 or EE because I can’t find 90m acres in EE history? Biggest I was able to find was 6m acres

Like the second set or smthing real close to the beginning. If it was just 6m for the record, that would be breakable with the current setup. Possibly even solo. It's just so far from optimal as far as I can tell and would take a heavy time investment , so no one has ever tried.

Nah pop gain would offset it. Land doesnt have to be built for this. That's why swedish vipers theo cashers are great.

You also get food for unbuilt acres. 90 mill acres unbuilt is still 36 mill food per turn - the cost of holding more pop
