For those that didn't know, and never wanted to know

0) Install mIRC

1) Load up mIRC

2) Click options (the Folder with a Hammer)

3) you Should be on "Connect" with a list underneath it...

4) Fill in the Full Name, Email Adress, Nickname, Alternative...

Full Name = Just what it says
Email Adress = your E-mail Adress

Nickname = What you want to be know as on IRC
Alternative = What you want to be know as on IRC if the one above is taken

5) Click "Servers" under the "Connect"

6) Click "Add"

when a new window appears, there should be: Description, IRC Server, Port(s), Group, some writing and Password

Fill in using this:

Description: irc.evolution2025.com
IRC Server: irc.evolution2025.com
Port(s): 6667
Group: Earth Empires

then click "OK"

7) Click "OK" Again

8) Click the Connect button (Looks like a Lightning bolt)

9) mIRC Favourites should come up...

then click "Add"

When the Add Channel come up you only have to worry about the Channel part...

Type in these channels

#earthempires

click "OK"

Then after that is Done, select one and click "Join"

or you could just click connect right on your options menu (where you type in your name etc) :P

I can't beleive that we're STILL using IRC for chat. Not that I think there's anything wrong with it... Just I remember going over to my mate's house, 'cause he was the only person I knew who had internet at all. He had a dial-up, 14.4bps connection, and we got in trouble from his Mom for going over in minutes that month... Because we were on IRC.
