A fair concern considering none of us want to war imp. That's too bad considering they made an old clan and brought some old members back to this server in an attempt to bring back some parity.

That said, they should at least take some retals and stop threatening to do so next time. Or at least work out a combination deal with Prime. Prime is not the most pleasant person to do FA with, but i doubt he would see any fun in pushing around the only fresh blood we've had here in a while. That plainly doesn't make sense. Both because the war would be a slaughter if they didn't call in allies, and a mess none of us want a part of for sets to come that would run players like me and ashe off the server if they did.

It seems to me that Prime would be willing to approach the idea of handling this diplomatically were it not to be on the forums. Though id be curious what he'd give in exchange for a 10 tap, because frankly 1:1 would hurt imp worse than l:l which is unusual but generally speaking us netters just want our land back.

In any case, the pool of land in ffa is too large for 20k acres to be something that doesn't get handled peacefully were imp indeed not wanting war with a small returning tag. Imo, it'd be nice to see imp do the right thing, and while i have my doubts, i don't really see sota providing them an opportunity.

Imp has about 15k avg land/country on SOTA and their avg nws are about equal. This implies there is a pile of low def netters with big land in imp. I would think they'd clearly want to settle out because they won't get a good war warring netters, they'll run off the top players if they do, and they won't win a landgrab exchange with you.

My 2 cents is imp should give sota another crack at contacting for FA before just giving up and being farmland.

And that's why u fail as a fa, you need to know how to pick ur battles, and this is one you won't win.

Given the near 20 hits on sota by imp this set, and the nearly 30k acres in land taken, i suspect not. Seems imp was going to push around sota until someone snapped regardless because sota did not want a land trading situation and preferred hitting the bots.

The decision to let the first half dozen hits go put Aphrodite in a situation to look bad when imp decided to take advantage and start farming sota. She was going to look bad for being so decent on the first 10k hit.

So no, this post just pointed out something that was happening behind the scenes.

I would like to point out that 12 is closer to 20 than 0 and 24k is closer to 30k than 0 so eh, I don't regret my ignorance. I was on point enough.
