Whats the true number of people that still play? The newspaper article said about 50 people. I still remember about 90% of the names I see posting on here. Any guesses to the true count?

PANLV is working on switching sites right now, but we've got 53 accounts (not all active, mind you, and a few are "ambassador" type accounts) on the old website and 21 members so far moved over on the new site. So I'd reckon we've got about 30-40 that come and go from time to time. Probably about 25-30 that play any given reset.

With that in mind, since we're usually right about 300 countries and the server has 3100, we're roughly 10% of the server. So 250-300 is a good starting point, but I'd imagine some of the untaggeds are people playing less than the ratio we've got going, but at the same time, there could be some small number of multis that just haven't been detected, so those probably cancel out and DS's guess is probably pretty close.

Someone told me today there are more than 800 new accts in primary

I would guess FFA is somewhere around 1/2 that.

And only like 200 countries playing primary atm

... 929 countries created in primary
... 455 have a minimum of 10K points
... 712 have at minimum taken some turns

last reset in primary:
... 607 countries created
... 361 had an minimum of 10K points
... 471 took one turn minimum

--- based on the above there are approximately 150-300 new (& active) countries in primary at the moment. This appears to be inline with the games normal growth trend-line.

that was a straight count from eestats... i was thinking the dead countries had already been removed from the count (maybe not/not sure). I haven't see too many dead countries in primary though, KRs must be much harder on the solo servers.
