THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION HAS ISSUED A CODE ORANGE AIR QUALITY ALERT SATURDAY FOR GLOUCESTER COUNTY.

A CODE ORANGE AIR QUALITY ALERT MEANS THAT AIR POLLUTION CONCENTRATIONS WITHIN THE REGION MAY BECOME UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS. SENSITIVE GROUPS INCLUDE CHILDREN... PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM ASTHMA... HEART DISEASE OR OTHER LUNG DISEASES... AND THE ELDERLY. THE EFFECTS OF AIR POLLUTION CAN BE MINIMIZED BY AVOIDING STRENUOUS ACTIVITY OR EXERCISE OUTDOORS.

think it might just a summer type alert, i don't usually click on them. i like the thunderstorm and snowstorm alerts though.

the smell might have something to do with the mercury levels in our hair, but i doubt it. it's probably from a landfill.

Orange alerts are useless. Red air alerts rock because then it's free buses citywide.
