anyone know of a good tutorial, with detailed information about user registration, authentication etc

I am basic in terms of PHP, but the more I try tutorials, the more I see different codes.

I want it to explain more into classes, constructors and how to secure your system.

I basically want to know more into definitions of php, while learning how to use the code, what does the code do! lol

I was going to post this on a php site, but I would like to see what programmers of EE would use as well.

As with all programming languages, there are many different ways to do the same thing. That is one reason why you see different code. Another would be different versions of php come with slight variations of commands and as it is maintained some commands get depreciated.

It sounds like you want to learn how to program in general. Take a class.

I had programmed C++ for a couple of years before i got into the PHP swamp so i don't know off any good tutorial sites .. :(

It's not a tutorial, but it is a simple open source project which does exactly what it looks like you're trying to do. It registers users, authenticates them, and secures pages.

I am trying to learn so I can finish my website which requires a bit more advanced PHP lol I know basic PHP and how to understand most of it.
