I'm a little torn on who to root for, because fluff the Panthers, but also fluff Canada.

So I think I'm rooting for the Oilers.

They got Bob'd last night.

:) Go lick your wounds Ranger fan. I think the Panthers are going to win. The Oilers controlled two periods of game one and couldn't score, McDavid had 6 shots on goal and couldn't get one passed Bob. However, if the Panthers keep going to the penalty box, McDavid and company are going to put some past Bob. Panthers have to remain disciplined to win, Edmonton is just too fast.

Game 2 was a beatdown.

Edmonton better break through on home ice or this is going to just be a coronation instead of a dogfight.

People say this every year. Vegas, Colorado, Chicago, St. Louis - these teams did not have the best goalie in recent years and won. Vasilevskiy with Tampa is more the exception than the rule these days as far as elite goalies winning it all.

A better way to look at it is who has the hot goalie. Right now it's Florida with Bob, but if McJesus and company get going it could even out real quick.
