Thats a fine statement to make however it is flawed. Do you own a smartphone? Do you have the internet at your house? Do you visit websites that use tracking cookies?
Google doesn't need you to use their site. Your phone, your ISP, and your daily surfing already spy on you. If you truly are concerned about your privacy, you would own zero electronic devices connected to the internet. You would not have the internet at home. You would avoid using almost all technology that makes your life easier or provides you entertainment.
If you're not willing to go to that kind of extreme, your frustration with [insert said evil company] is misguided.
