I got that exact same thing. That's why my forum acct is linked to a junker email address.

mine is linked to account where only emails from ppls on access-list (which contains only few ppls) get to inbox, others goto spam-box.

don't think people can see my email addy here.

they can send me a PM, so why bother with displaying contact info.

nope unless has enabled it. bots although crawl ee-boards thru and many ppls post their emails at here w/o modifying it.
