Reading stock news on stimulus in the United States. Stock buybacks being a topic when corporations take a qualifying loan to protect from bankruptcy so million dollar companies cannot borrow money and sit around until interest rates get better. Say if company Z is turning into junk from shutting down now, company Y can get a relief loan then spend on shares of company Z. After company Y buys out company Z, company Y take advantage of stimulus and gets all the profits away from company Z and then company Z is worth nothing, then? Or other end to Company Y defaults after Company Z doesn't produce enough well and then both Company Y and Company Z are bankrupted.
