this is unbelievably sad news. I got his address a while ago and was thinking of funny "get well soon" cards to send him during his recovery as recently as today :-/

I thought he was passed the hard bits and looking up :(
i didn't even know he was in palliative care of I'd have made sure we got a card there early. i feel sick that I didn't and I had the opportunity to.

he will be missed. :(
