I've never understood this and never really cared but I guess I'm finally curious enough to ask.
They took:
103 acres (135 gained)
50 buildings (98 destroyed)
What the hell is this?
So, the country being hit definitely loses 103 acres, but there's 135 acres gained. That means the attacker gets 32 ghost acres. But 50 buildings. So building capture and ghost acres are different amounts... but I always thought they were connected. Like, you get more ghost acres if you attack someone with the same type of buildings? In fact, I believe the dictator ghost acre bonus was so they could capture more buildings. But since the numbers don't match, I wonder. Is one of the numbers a function of the other? Or are they independent but both based off the size of the grab?
Okay, and all that is one thing, but then why are 98 buildings "destroyed"? What does that mean? If the defender lost 103 acres, and I gained 50 buildings, then weren't only 53 buildings destroyed?
