I'm pretty bad at explaining, did that make sense?
Like if i want to find the precentage of 4+3 divided by ten, if i enter 4+3/10×100 into a calculator, the order of operations is such thay 3 will be divided by ten first, then that times 4 and then have 4 added which will give an answer of 34%. You need the parenthesis around the addition to make it go first and get the result of 70%.
