I like Morton tonight against McCullers but with the dodgers tonight, and both teams inching towards that 2017 rematch, I'm already getting hype to see kelly throw at Correa again.

Annnd Morton is dealing. That's why they paid 15m for him. Looking like you'll need a comeback off the best pen in the league....if they ever make it in. Morton's on like 45 pitches thru 5.

That's a wrap. Was a little worried seeing Fairbanks out there still in the 9th and his slider totally wasnt on. Just hadn't seen 100 all day so he was totally the right look to get guys underneath the high heat. Cash is a wizard for giving Diego the night off and keeping Glasnow for game one of the series with diego and Cutiss ready to rock outta the pen. Hell of a series tho and dusty Baker is a total class act. Perfect guy to set the record straight there.

Arozarena going to enter the series having already broken the postseason rookie home run record with 7, and one hit off Jeter's rookie hits record. The kid just suddenly exploded with power and ALL THE TOOLS. Any record stolen from the yanks is a good record to break. I'll be rooting for that kid a long time I figure. 10/10 would watch this series again. One of my favorites since the 2016 world series. Hopefully the give randy the mvp.

And then they did give randy the mvp. I am officially pleased.

Game was so intriguing I slept through it. Maybe next year when our teams not so beat up.

At least I won't be tempted to drive up to Dallas and find a ticket.

Hahaha. I bet those 10,000 tix will not be cheap haha. It's a damn privilege to see live hardball this year. Would have almost been worth it if it was a 2017 replay, but I'd stay in houston if it was astros/braves haha. I wanted see joe kelly face Correa like 4 more times haha.

Framber is gonna be knocking dudes out with that bender for a long time tho. More people struck out on that pitch than any pitch in baseball this year, and the only pitch close is Glasnow's wipeout, and tbh, Framber has waaaay better control. You all were just one injured Verlander away from having the depth to win the hardware this year. With Yordan and everyone back next year, it's still a scary playoff team if they go get another SP.

I find it funny that the same fan base that applauds joe kelly is the same fan base that was cheated out of a world series by his team in 2018.

Haha. You ever seen the video from this off season where joe kelly is trying to pitch into a net in his back yard and completely misses the net and blasts a window in his house? The funny thing about that AB and the two before is that I don't think he was actually throwing at anyone. He's just made a career out of being slightly crazy and effectively wild. That's actually just how that guy pitches. I kind of thought Correa would have gotten more riled up haha.

Plus I have a soft spot for pitchers in a pen about 500 feet from any sign stealing by hitters. I don't think, for example, my opinion of even the starting pitchers should be tainted because they didnt benefit from it. I'm still a garrett Cole fan, still a verlander fan and still a grienke fan.

For whatever reason I don't hold it against Mookie at all...same with Marwin. Probably because they left the cheat squad. Also the astros was more widespread and happened over a whole season and a half and playoff where boston was only shown to do it in 5 games.

Either way, the drama of the whole deal in moments like that is good for baseball. It was one of the more newsworthy moments this year.
