I have 8 techers 4 cashers 4 farmers. Trying to hedge myself. But the farmers don't need cash at this point so the high price isn't helping me there.

With inflation... (Hint Game Developers) we should see prices sky rocket over 300 dollars per bushel. That's just reality, but you know as well as me that this is an inaccurate and stupid game.

it's a bit early in the set for most people to destock...but it does appear to be dropping. This could be an interesting indicator though... If destocks were being prepped Military tech would be bought....instead Medical tech jumped. Maybe I should start scanning for red countries ?

So, by now a lot of the techers will have 100% decay bonus.. and thus don't need to stock food anymore/drive it up high..

as for the reason why a tech type went real high, could be just a lack of supply, or could be a transfer..

I am new here. Hadn't played since 2012. And unfortunately my 8 techers used turns instead of decay. So I am watching my end of set goal fade quickly with the price of a bushel. But that makes a lot of sense that with 90+% decay the demand for food is almost none.

The medical tech I was refering to wasn't the price it was that in a 24 hour period 40.8M pts were sold in comparison to 15.5M sold of military, or 35M of Agri. Seems like an odd way to transfer money...but maybe.

yeah, people will stock food in cashers and oilers, but it will fall to around 40 i suspect.

as for Med tech being used as a transfer, it always has been some guys will start jumping soon also..

Unfortunately I did...I made a lot of bad choices this set because it had been so long since I played an FFA set. Country numbers 1105 & 1108. You'll notice they finish much lower than the other techers in my string.
