Is there something I'm doing incorrectly when I try to select GDI from the bonus screen? I have 2x8 bonus points available, the set just began, and I have not attacked or been attacked.

Why can't I select the GDI option, which appears as a grayed out box.

you need to 1st join gdi and then get bonus.

Join GDI from the main menu, under your country status screen, you'll see a link

Found it. That link never stuck out to me, always thought it was a part of the news.
