from keeping an eye in, it looks like all the commies started destocking too late (serp below 100? something went wrong). i'm surprised #13 didn't finish higher also after a near-flawless set.

that said, it was mightily close between bobby and palemoon... a few 100k spread is incredible after a full set, so congrats to palemoon too.

final mention for 3rd spot - top techer in a long time, great work.

yea great set Palemoon. It was incredibly close, seems like your stocking earlier was a good strategy! I calculated and you had over 99.8% of my NW so...

And oh yea oldman I was selling food and trying to buy lower and accidentally sold all of my stock forcing me to destock a day to a day and a half earlier than I wanted. Two different people had standing orders of 11B and 5B worth of food!!! I thought food was going to crash all the way to 36 a couple days out...I'm still a little unsure why that didn't happen. Market is getting very thin with the lack of players and weird things happen.

And afaik, I'm taking the next 3 sets off at least heh due to RL. Hopefully I"ll be back later in 2014 tho

What a weird set. Not sure why so low. I thought I'd just float through this Christmas set and not try too hard, but ended up doing pretty good(so I thought). Gained land ok compared to the competition in this round with hard to find land, and didn't get retal'd.

I never really looked at the calculations on when to stop grabbing, or where I'd finish, but im surprised it didn't even make 100m!!! Lol I'd thought I played it right based on what was going on around. Even had good tech early too. I don't know, I'm confused. Maybe when I sold a boat load of military for around $110 "or something too low" with few days left instead of stocking turns...lol. After that I was like: OMG, there's only 4 days left!?!? Stock turns!!..

Ah well. Hopefully next sets better.
