if a demo had max military tech, could that theoretically be the most profit to gain? I know primary food prices are generally around 32 or 33 for a long portion, so if my max private sell was 36, i could just do that to stock cash, rather than using turns. I'm just curious about the cons to this, other than the time it takes to get max military tech.

It only takes one other person to max Military as a Demo and your profits are halved.

It's just not something you can rely on, because all you would be doing is help to push the food price up to $36, and your profits will reduce to 0 within a couple of days.

But if the equilibrium is $33 and he pushes the price up to an artificial $36, the market would get clogged with too many bushes at $36, and some people would continue selling at $35 to get their food sold.

also, with the price going up and me being a demo farmer, id be making profit once the price rises. thats my qusetion, it just seems like pure profit at all times. obviously this depends on military and land size and net expenses.

Oh yeah, it works better if you're a farmer. Then it's only slightly about reselling bushels. Then you're happily selling for $36 instead of $32. The only thing is, sub $35 prices aren't that common are they?
