Hello, I am a little hazy at how a country is destroyed in battle. I was in a battle last round and the country I fought became destroyed. What are the thresholds for a country to be eliminated due to battle/war?

Kill all civilians or take/destroy all land. Chances are you didn’t kill him unless it was very small scale. Just out of protection kind of timing.
