i think oiler might be the easiest legit strat (even though it's not that legit). but you don't need any tech for it, all you have to do is pick F and you're in business.
yeah oiler is a pretty good strat but it's the luck of the draw because oil prices swing so much between sets. But the benefits are definitely there.
1. No production tech = save cash, more weapons/mil strat, etc... instead
2. Less nw inflation because you don't need production tech. That means a casher with the same nw will have significantly less military than you.
3. no tech pump/start up needed. Save turns and save plenty of cash on rebuild after tech start
4. You'll never run out of oil :)
5. once you get bigger you can do half and half with farms. That way, you won't crash the oil market and also never have to pay for food.
