If im double tapped for a retal, and i tank roll or whatever, does this break my gdi as well? (player in question has no gdi)

Dang it all. So i cant retal, his double retal at all then? Unless i want to risk brimfire? Im sure the risk is minimal considering he is a rainbow strat kinda guy, but still

well, if he's a rainbow, then just retal him 2x and get some tanks. You will probably move out of his range soon enough.

Yep.

The game doesn't know what retals are. All it knows is that you have attacked him twice (if you retal again), and that breaks GDI for him to attack you.

I'd farm him more than twice and then buy up tanks/SDI (if he has warfare tech)

Well, he hit me 3 times now for 1 retal, and hes non gdi. Im assuming his set is as close to over as it will get.

Double SS or PS breaks GDI protection
Special attacks such as GS/BR/AB breaks GDI protection
Missles breaks GDI protection
Harmful spy ops such as bomb structures, demoralise and sabotage missles breaks GDI protection
