I think I read somewhere that 36% is a good percentage to use and to make cash you need to sell lots of military on the market as you will always be making negative cash.

Max your Indy tech first so you produce more goods to sell, then bus/res tech. Try selling max goods 2x a day.

Oh and your tax rate should've been left where it was.
