Oil did you stockpile while it was under $100/barrel?

2.2m barrels here, majority at under $60ea :-D with that being said, i got me some shiny jets too haha

I took 150k@$100 last night and then came the $200 oil LOL, it's @$175 currently :/

I got some of that cheap oil, but I didn't expect it to go up in price so much over night. Would of gotten a bit more..

I had plans to stock oil as Fasc farmer/oiler to sell when oil price goes up. But seeing how broke I am as it is at $32 bushel price it didn't really happen.

Well, it is a self-fulfilling prophecy isn't it?

If more people believe prices are going to skyrocket, then more people will stockpile it before it skyrockets, causing it to skyrocket.

Consider if I didn't buy 300k oil, serp didn't buy 1.1m oil, KoH didn't buy 2.2m oil, and god knows how many mil more are stockpiled by other players, think just how much more oil there would be at the market at maybe $70-$80 right now. In the millions.

All y'all did contribute to it going up but an increase was inevitable, the price was too low and oil prices rise every set, so you probably just quickened the process. It's still not that high though.

Well Xin, everyone that stockpiled it while it was low wouldn't be buying for a while, so it should crash. Unless there really isn't that much supply.

I never stockpile more then a days worth of oil. I just figure the benefit of using that $$ for more tech is worth it this early on. Never really ran the numbers on any analysis tho. Certainly I ugess if oil goes from 40 one day to 120 the next it is probably best to stockpile.

Its an economic mini-bubble :)
About 3 million barrels sold the day before yesterday and then 7 million yesterday.. an unusually high amount for day 10 of the reset.

I managed to sell some oil for a good price, bigger profit margin than for bushels today. Won't be putting any on the market the coming days tho.

KoHearts - what are you going to do with all of that oil? I'm using about 40k barrels a day right now. 3 million is way more than you can use. And there's way too many people with oil stockpiled to last them for a week or more.

If you have too much you can sell it later on when prices are higher I guess.
Might have been better to put income towards growing faster but it won't be a big loss really.

Looks like oil prices will go up a bit in the again in the next few days judging from the amounts being bought.
