Depends, I got grabbed twice this set.
First hit got through but I didn't think it was worth the expenses to buy jets for a retal.
Second grab failed, but I could easily retal and get away with it, so I retalled.

Of course. They hit you first, why can't you hit back? If they then choose to RoR then you have the ball in your court to do a 2nd retal and/or anything else on top after. Apparantly gogy thinks because he DH'ed me I wasn't supposed to retal him.. I don't get that silly logic. It's not my fault he failed.. if you hit someone who can retal you easily, then you better not fail or you come out behind.

Depends on how hard I would have to reach for the retal. If I have the jets or can get them fairly easily without spending too much cash and throwing off my game plan, then I go ahead with it. If retaling them means I need to stock up massive jets to pull it off, I take a look at their land vs mine and how much I would get for it. If I feel the land I would get from it justifies the purchase cost of additional jets/oil then I go for it. If not, then I just let it go.

Depends, if they originally had more land than I have, I'll retal the hit. If they had less land, I'd let it go with a messaged warning against future actions of the sort.

If it's coming from someone who has ruthlessly farmed another country, then I will retal ASAP, and offer an alliance to the farmed country.

If they hit me twice, it's not a land grab anymore, it's an act of war, espcially if they precede it with attempts to demoralize my forces, or use cruise missiles to reduce the amount of military I have.

If they are just trying to land grab and fail, I default to the land amount protocol, then move on from there.
