So I was under the guise that a land grab was a one time deal. You hit a guy, win or lose and moved on. When it is the same person hitting you once per day, is it no longer considered a land grab?

They probably think your an easy target. If they do it twice I'd send a missle at them if you don't have the firepower to outright retal. Another way to deal with it is to show you'll AB them by building up on tanks. They are more than likely spy oping you each day. So if they see tank build up they might cut it out.

It is a solo server. You are backed up by no-one and neither is your rude and insulting aggressor. You deal with it as you see fit. There is no "policy" or etiquette.

That type of coordination is grounds for deletion. Report it to the mods.

primary, tourny or express have never been fully solo servers, alliance/ffa-mates play together so they can give tips to eachothers if they want and plan buyouts for example and other things.

fully solo server would be no allies helping anyways.

Giving people tips doesn't prevent solo play. A coordinated buyout though would be outright cheating.

What these people are doing is obviously against the rules as well, but they're just newbies, they're all around 1m net or so and would be better helped by having someone talk to them than they would be by getting mass deleted.

The way I understand it is you could provide break numbers but not full spy ops information.

any info which requires spending turns to get it can't be shared with other players but its easy to and pretty much un-traceable when its done via boxcar or instant messenger or etc.

I thought I read somewhere around here you could send break numbers because you could totally be setting someone up for a DH?

nope, at least not actively. last post is bit over year ago.

rules need some clarification (aka what is allowed to tell to ingame ally about breaks and what not, etc) and reposting so that those are same on all solo-servers to get rid off grey areas (most).

Apparently this term (topfeed) changes definitions to suit the person speaking lol a dict hitting a similar rank demo is not a topfeed, it is a freaking landgrab.

^Still it was a big land grab against a well built target(at the time at least). The first message I was clearly angry that my attack bounced and decided 24hrs later I wasn't gonna just let him get away with that big of a gain. I clearly stated that the choice was on his end to accept the retal and move on or not and he choose war over netting.

ask from 25 players their definition of topfeed and you might get 25 different answer.

Of course it is natural to want to hit back. So nearly everyone gives a priority to retaliatory hits.

But this is poor solo server play. Ideally each grab made should stand on its own merits, if there is a country which will yield a bigger return that country should be chosen over making a retal.

But this is seriously hard to do. Usually beyond me.

Of course it is different in Alliance. Each clan wants to buld up or defend tag protection.
