stop teching for the love of god... with only a few thousand labs, i'd switch to farming. Tech prices are collapsing.

1. Tech is on its way down...it isn't going to go back up very much. There might be a buy out, but you won't make that much off of one.

2. Why are you teching as a commie? AND why are you a rainbow strat?

You're right. Tech prices go down, food prices go up. This happens at day 30-40 in most every set, because techers stop growing and start stocking. There are 6 or 7 techers in the top 30 teching over nine thousand points per turn, prices will continue to go down.

Ingle,sorry I went off,it was all directed at the "GOD" Rockman,he really annoyes me at times,I'm running a rainbow cuz I'm just playing for fun sake and I like to learn as I go :) I am thinking of going full Indy,saving turns and money to switch over :)

Whether you are netting or warring, it helps greatly to have a great economy ... unless your goal is to suck. I personally prefer winning to losing. It takes more effort to run a rainbow than it does to run a good country. Keeping your buildings clean takes very little thought. Building your land in a way that isn't optimal is rather difficult, because it requires you to act in an illogical way, and to make determinations on what building to build that isn't based on reality.

If you don't play a rainbow, its really easy to know what to build. If you're a farmer and have barren acres, you build farms. If you're a casher and have barren acres, you build enterprise zones and residences in about a 11 to 10 ratio. If you're a techer and have barren acres, you build research labs.

But if you're playing a rainbow and you have barren acres ... how the hell do you decide what you're doing with your land? You can't just build whats best for you, you actually have to make an effort to screw your country up.

I don't like putting a lot of effort into my country, so I don't play rainbows. For me the fun is in doing it properly, not in doing it wrong so that I can spend more time in my country because I've messed it up so badly.

also why wouldn't you want to run a strat where you're making the most money? With that money you could buy more stuff to kill stuff.

If you like money, you'll switch to farms and max agri tech.
