Hey all, Haven't played in quite a few years and stumbled upon this remake. Playing in primary and looking for allies. All slots are open at the moment so if you want to ally send me a PM. I don't really have a strategy yet but will meld it around the group. I'm on at least once a day.

I tend to go the oil baron/harasser so my allies can attack. Then swap. I'm not a great attacker; so, so on banking.

Hm, oilers suck in this server, go CI :)

What's wrong with oilers? Not enough people to make the market work? I guess old strats be old now.

I don't remember oiler ever being a viable strat to compete with.

I only played 98-02 and half of 2012, so what do I know... missed a lot of time.

I think people do like a farmer/oiler mix now right? And kinda adjust buildings depending on market conditions? Don't take my word on it though, I only played a techer so far. Just got back into it a couple of resets ago myself.

Most people stock oil early from cheap buys and/or runs couple 100 rigs :(
