Prices are brutal

Rockman: I don't take primary seriously, and as such, I tend to experiment quite a bit. With the new ability to sell 32% of what you have on hand (including tech), I wanted to see if commie would be viable during the growth phase of techer. For obvious reasons, I won't be using it while stocking, if I decide that it's actually worth it with these low prices. Btw, do you play in LaF?

Well, since there isn't an EE simulator (as far as I know), I just do stuff on the fly. Primary is the only server that I play in which is solo, and I'm unwilling to expand any further. If the opportunity presents itself to try it out in other servers and compare (preferably FFA, where I can run two techers at the same time and draw direct comparisons), I'll take it. But for the time being, this will have to do.

What BPT should a commie aim for?

That depends solely on your land goal.

50-80 would be fine for a fairly wide range of land totals. Below 20k 50-60 would be fine, while 25k+ you would want something closer to 80. If you landtrade with landgrabs a lot i would think you would want higher too.
