major change: how many major changes there's been before current.

govt revision: same thing as above except its govt.

In programming code, whenever you make changes to the code, each new change is called a new "revision", and usually given a number. So while users might be using version X of your program, game or whatever, you might be releasing a version that is X+1 soon.

In EE, revision changes are updated to us (to players) as a new reset starts, and the code switches from using the old code, to using the newer revised code - these code are numbered.

I'm trying to start putting the Change Set numbers and such in the announcements posts, so people can see what things changed when, and which are on what server...


I've thought about making a "Random Historical" server or something which randomizes which change set it goes with every reset heh... that'd be amusing....
