Yes, stocking now and selling later will yield insane profits - but to stock oil now means you need to forgo a portion of your cash that could be used buying tech and/or growing your country instead (say buying jets to grab and build extra land).

Slowing your growth down to stock oil isn't exactly worth it.

I did that the last two sets and woulda been better off buying tech.

I used to stock oil during my 1st 2 sets in Primary but I realised its better to use the money to buy more military or tech instead of spending it on oil. Having said that, I accidently bought 500k oil instead of 50k oil. :(
