Another thing I noticed is that oldman's "Best 3" is now 141,906,839, passing afaik who raised his "Best 3" to 141,511,890, making him the new #1 overall Primary player by that important ranking.

That Rival guys dropped 2 nukes on you cause you weren't in GDI. I'll tell you one thing I learned this set though, I will be joining Rival, those guys can play.

Afaik's gonna have to go balls out next set to take #1 back. Seems hard for the indies to keep up with the cashers now though. Everyone's got their strats dialed in pretty good.

I'm pleased in a way to top my highest finish in primary, but to see myself 13m behind the top Indy means I have more work to do tightening up my game. Probably optimizing my early game a bit more.

i thought bakku had held that ranking for some time (i'm rarely able to check as i play mostly from my phone), but even more congrats oldman for picking up the t3!




your early game is stronger than mine serp. your late game is where i caught up - you will recall our discussion around the order of tech and build development.

pretty amazing nw's all round though, it was a quiet set for topfeeding but the depressed tech and mil prices just worked for the cashers best. also init/aqua did well to catch up and overtake me at the end there, and blid's finish was close enough to have me worried :P

I compared my country to Serp's and afaik's about midway into the reset. Though I had strong tech%, it was nowhere near both of their countries' tech levels (I only had 500k tech points (140% indy) at the time they both had 800-900k), that plus the fact that I was about 1 day behind in land, meant I was likely to finish below both players by about 10m.

Serp however stopped grabbing at ~60k, I think it would have been better to reach 65k and then cash out, than to stock some food instead and lose 20% of the stock value to commission.

In hindsight, I should have upped my tech when tech was at the 1400 trough, I instead only teched up when it climbed back to 1600 and that decision came back to bite me.

I'm pretty excited to have broken the 125m barrier!

serpentor and i did a little experiment which is why he stopped grabbing there.

i've stopped grabbing at 56k before though with great results, so it is viable on lower land / greater stock as a commmie.

:) i surged and caught you in land toward the end, but when i spied on you, i was days behind in tech levels, so i was never able to make up the gap. also, i agree with you about serp's early game - it was great. i think he only fell behind because when he stopped attacking early, food prices were high for stocking.

And that probably happened because I assured blid that h2o would not PS blid on Primary for Express reasons. h2o and hao2 were my D allies and it was in my interests not to lose anymore turrets to retals on h2o!
